Problem Note 56502: The THREADS= argument in the SET FROM statement in PROC DS2 has no effect when a threaded program is run inside the database

DetailsAboutRate It

If a PROC DS2 threaded program is run inside a database, the number of threads is set by the SAS® In-Database Code Accelerator. The THREADS= argument in the SET FROM statement has no effect if the SAS In-Database Code Accelerator for Greenplum, Hadoop, or Teradata is used to access a database table.

Prior to the third maintenance release of SAS 9.4 (TS1M3), the SAS® DS2 Language Reference incorrectly states that the THREADS= option in the SET FROM statement did affect the number of threads.
